Hi!
I have seen your line-art tutorial in SAI, your design is really great!
I am very newbie in SAI, in first day of using I used some drawing instrument (I don't know which).
Now I try to find what I use...without any results.
This instrument leaves several thin lines with one strokes, it could be used for making "fabric" background.

colored lines lilac, brown, green on backside...maybe you have some ideas?

try to draw the lineart on the top and make another normal layer for the color below the lineart :) Or if its a flat image just make a layer on top and make the layer multiply so it wont hit the lineart. You can add more layer effects while making these. try to experiment :)
